Capcom pop-up at LaLaport ACG Base stays until 27 December 2026

JUSTDAN Malaysia Sdn Bhd opened Capcom's third Malaysia pop-up at units L2-39A and L2-39B in ACG Base, LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, on 24 September 2026. The shop stays until 27 December. Opening day ran 11am to 10pm. From 25 September the hours are 10am to 10pm, matching the mall. Entry is free. You pay for merch.

This is not a Pavilion atrium weekend. LaLaport sits on Jalan Hang Tuah, three minutes on foot from Hang Tuah LRT and monorail. ACG Base is on Level 2 toward the East Atrium and GSC. If you already shop Pavilion, Fahrenheit88, or Lot 10, this is a one-stop hop on the same rail spine, not a day trip to another city. Malay Mail's Sayuti Zainudin photographed the shop on opening day. Lowyat's Nurul Kamil walked it the same morning and counted more than 350 SKUs, most of them Japan-channel goods that do not sit on ordinary Malaysian toy shelves.

Monster Hunter still owns the floor

A Justdan staffer on site told Lowyat the opening mix is more than 350 pieces. Monster Hunter takes the most wall space, as it did at the 2025 LaLaport pop-up and the April 2026 AEON Tebrau City run in Johor Bahru. Those earlier shops lasted four days and under a week. This one is built as a three-month store so out-of-state fans can plan a KL weekend, and so Justdan can rotate stock instead of dumping everything on day one.

The rest of the mix is Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Street Fighter, Mega Man, Ace Attorney, and Dragon's Dogma. Malay Mail spotted Ryu and Chun-Li figures next to Ace Attorney's Barok van Zieks and Miles Edgeworth. TRP called out Monster Hunter creature figures, Street Fighter chibi blind boxes with Guile, Juri, and Blanka in a snacking-pose series, an Onimusha ruler, and a Capcom Creators mug. Lowyat also saw a thin slice of newer titles, Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Pragmata, plus the Capcoron mascot plush line that sold through last year. Keychains, standees, models, apparel, mugs, and dinnerware fill the leftover racks. Prices sit at collector and casual points. There is no published full inventory. Treat opening-week photos as a snapshot, not a catalogue.

Justdan told Lowyat it will bring in around 30 to 40 new products a month. Older pieces can leave when new ones arrive. Locals can loop back. Anyone coming from Penang or Johor sees whatever is on the shelf that weekend. Follow @justdan_sea on Instagram for restock notes rather than assuming the opening mix lasts until Christmas.

Two Malaysia exclusives, and a RM100 postcard

This is the first Capcom pop-up here with Malaysia-only merch. Wave one is a limited oversized, relaxed-fit T-shirt with franchise characters, on sale from 24 September. Wave two is a lightweight eco tote, due in the mid-event window. Lowyat's opening-day report put the tote in October or November. Justdan said the exact date would land on its social channels. Both drops are limited. If the tee is the reason you are going, go early. The tote is the reason to check Instagram before a second trip.

Spend RM100 in a single receipt and you get a complimentary Capcom Pop-Up Store Malaysia postcard, while stocks last. That is a receipt threshold, not a loyalty card. Stack a figure and a plush if you want the card without hunting a single RM100 item.

Hang Tuah, not Jalan Bukit Bintang

LaLaport BBCC's address is 2, Jalan Hang Tuah, 55100 Kuala Lumpur. The mall's own Facebook post, which Lowyat linked, confirms the 27 December close. A fan site at lalaportbbcc.com listed the same units but cut the run to 24 to 27 September and used opening-day hours as the whole schedule. Trust the on-the-ground reports and Justdan's dates. Mitsui's official mall domain has been flaky from some networks. Instagram @justdan_sea and LaLaport BBCC's Facebook page are the live channels.

ACG Base itself is a year old this October. The floor already holds Animate, themed cafes, and more than 20 anime and game shops. Capcom is a tenant pop-up inside that cluster, not a Main Atrium festival. You can combine it with GSC, then ride one stop to Bukit Bintang station if you still want Pavilion. Parking is in the mall. The shop does not publish a queue system. Weekend afternoons in ACG Base get tight around new drops.
